OBJECTIVES of jalsa salana UK 2012

The primary purpose of this Convention is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits; They may enhance their knowledge and - due to their being blessed and enabled by Allah, The Exalted - their perception [of Allah] may progress. Among its secondary benefits is that this congregational meeting together will promote mutual introduction among all brothers, and it will strengthen the fraternal ties within this Community..."

Ishtihar 7 Dec. 1892, Majmoo`ah Ishtiharat Vol. I, Page 340
“ It is essential for all those who can afford to undertake the journey, that they must come to attend this Convention which embodies many blessed objectives. They should disregard minor inconveniences in the cause of Allah and His prophet (peace be upon him.). Allah yields reward to the sincere persons at every step of their way, and no labour and hardship, undertaken in His way, ever goes to waste. I re-emphasize that you must not rank this convention in the same league as other, ordinary, human assemblies. This is a phenomenon that is based purely on the Divine Help, for propagation of Islam."

Ishtihar 7 Dec. 1892, Majmoo`ah Ishtiharat Vol. I, Page 341

“ I conclude with the prayer that everyone who travels for [attending] this Convention that is for the sake of Allah: May Allah, the Exalted, be with him, reward him in abundant measure, have mercy on him, ease up for him his circumstances of hardship and anxiety and eliminate his anguish and grief. May He grant him freedom from every single hardship and lay open for him the ways of [achieving] his cherished goals, and raise him up, on the day of Judgment, among those of His servants who are the recipients of His blessings and Mercy. May He be their Guardian in their absence until after their journey comes to an end. O Allah! O Sublime One and Bestower of bounties, the Ever Merciful and One Who Resolves all problems, do grant all these prayers, and grant us Victory over our opponents with scintillating signs, because You alone have all the prowess and power. Aameen! Aameen!!”

An overview of AHMADIYYA muslim jam'at

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, fast growing international revival movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, it spans over 200 countries with membership exceeding tens of millions. Its current headquarters are in the United Kingdom.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long-awaited Messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) (1835-1908) of Qadian. Ahmad(as) claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus(as) of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad(sa). Ahmadiyya Muslim Community believes that God sent Ahmad(as), like Jesus(as), to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstitute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad’s(as) advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival. He divested Islam of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings. He also recognized the noble teachings of the great religious founders and saints, including Zoroaster(as), Abraham(as), Moses(as), Jesus(as), Krishna(as), Buddha(as), Confucius(as), Lao Tzu and Guru Nanak, and explained how such teachings converged into the one true Islam.

How does Facebook tie in with the Life of An AHMADI?

Facebook has become an international obsession. We tell ourselves it’s a way to “stay in touch” or to be “social with friends” but is it really that? I would say that it has become an unhealthy obsession that takes away hours out of many people’s day and creates a deep sense of insecurity as we compare ourselves to others. The goal of this article is to show you that you do NOT need Facebook, the context of the speeches of our Imam regarding Facebook, and that without it you can thrive! Facebook is, contrary to popular myth, not a necessity…

As a social networking platform launched officially in 2004, it grew substantially over the years and today, it has over 901 million users worldwide. But what is it that makes Facebook so popular, and why is that more and more youngsters are beginning to use it? Is it to look ‘cool’, or is it just to ‘keep in touch’ with distant relatives around the globe. Since every individual has their own needs, I will not be concentrating on that but rather focus on what kind of harms Facebook has and why has the Khalifa of the time, the person we claim is the official representative of God Almighty on earth today, advised us Ahmadi [youngsters] to avoid the use of it as much as we can?

Facebook is like most other social networking sites. You can upload photos, add ‘friends’, add your location, you bio; date of birth, birth place, parents, family, current residence amongst others, all that can help anyone out there find out everything about you, your personality and your character. It is, as many say, the perfect social networking site, and that is exactly why many [youngsters] will argue about what can possibly be bad about such a site(s)? Well let me tell you.

JESUS a humble prophet of GOD

Ahmadi Muslims hold the unique belief that Jesus (peace be upon him) survived the crucifixion and travelled towards India to continue his ministry among the Lost Tribes of Israel. Furthermore, they claim that his tomb, containing his body, has been recently re-discovered in India where it can be seen to this day. Ahmadi Muslims also assert that this belief is not only upheld by the Holy Quran and the Sayings of Muhammad sa, but even by the Holy Bible itself.
